Honesty in Affiliate Marketing
If you are looking for honesty in affiliate marketing, you are not alone. I am sick of the boondoggles and cons, so I am going to shoot ya straight.
I may not be Sam Spade, aka Humphrey Bogart, nor a gum shoe, but over the last several years I have figured out a thing or two about Affiliate Marketing.
The first thing I learned was: If you have not made any lettuce on-line, don't spend any lettuce on-line. If you do, it will be gone with the wind.

There are tons of ways to do Affiliate Marketing online without spending a dime and that is what I am going to show you here.
Let's get one thing straight, I'm not going to make any moolah off ya unless you want me to. Even then, you will know when and how I did it. If you see an offer on this site that you want to join, I will tell you first how it works, then who makes the coin off of it. But for the most part, I'm not going to make two red cents off of ya.

So, ya think ya got what it takes to be an affiliate marketer? Well, if your reading this, your right. All ya need is a computer and an internet connection. Looks like ya got it. Now for the hard stuff, ya need an e-mail address that you can use just for your affiliate business.
You do not want all the adds and promo updates going to your real email address. Need one? Google has a pretty good one. Click here( Gmail ) to get a g-mail account. Or Hotmail. Both are free and I make noda off of them.
Let's see, from here we need a few more things; your own web site, like this one. A FREE WEB SITE. (Do not pay for one, or upgrade to a pro-site, until you have a lot of traffic on your free site)
Why do you need a web site? Some affiliate sites require you to have a web site before they will let you join them. This way they know that you are not just out "spamming" their adds to a bunch of people who do not want them. Also, a web site is usually found due to targeted web searches, so if your readers find and trust your web site, they will trust and like the adds that you are showing. This increases the chance of your customers looking at and buying from your affiliates.
If you have no clue how to make a web page, want a more profesional site than what Webs.com offers, and need a lot of great help with putting one together it will cost you. But if that is what you need, please take a look at Site Build It!
Most importantly, you need a Niche.

Now, assuming you have a niche, or two, you can get started with your web page at Webs.com.
To make your own site takes a bit of work, and in most cases, a good chunk of change, but at Webs.com, it is free and easy. All you have to do now is work your niche into it. Try to keep your niche, theme, and products in the same realm. This means that if your niche is rare comic book information, your theme should be based on comics, and your product should be related as well. So, your products or affiliate links, may be for comic books or super hero supplies.
One of the best places' to get products for a site is Amazon.com. With the aStore and it's links, tools, and endless products, you can just about fill any store.
Just for fun, lets say you did put a "Comic site" together on Webs.com, and now you want to push some comic products to you readers. With the Amazon.com Astore it is very easy. I spent just about five minutes and put together a comic store that could be used on a comic site. Check it out... Comic Store. You can do the same thing, but even better. I spent only five minutes to make that store.
